Hold on, I don't doubt people have been to mount Everest. But if someone told me they went and then tried using their going as evidence of something, then I'd have an issue and doubt their trip.

ok not gonna lie this debate is a little dumb

The medium to travel to Everest is possible, because it’s provable. The medium to travel to space is tbd if it’s possible, because it’s never been proven you can create thrust in a vacuum.

See, you're now trying to use a claim of someone doing something as evidence of something. Exactly what I just got done detailing.

No

hey um are there any mods that are round earthers?

2019-05-25 03:02:31 UTC

besides mee6

I don't doubt that people have gone there

No it's not

You said I don't doubt the people who have gone there

There's still a difference

2019-05-25 03:03:42 UTC

lol no mods are round earthers

2019-05-25 03:03:50 UTC

all of them are flat earthers

2019-05-25 03:03:51 UTC

You claim thrust in a vacuum is possible, @bigboyscience So prove it.

2019-05-25 03:04:34 UTC

Wth was that?

2019-05-25 03:05:03 UTC

I said prove it. Not send a video making the claim using tinfoil.

2019-05-25 03:06:06 UTC

Why isn’t the thrust being measured?

2019-05-25 03:06:16 UTC

It’s just being claimed it is.

2019-05-25 03:06:25 UTC

How is it being verified?

You can analyze the evidence at the scene, though of course, you'd have to get there. That's a bit different than someone claiming to have been. Unless you find a hand-written note or letter with a fingerprint or something, it's gonna be hard to prove what individual was actually there.

2019-05-25 03:07:15 UTC

Yes

2019-05-25 03:07:16 UTC

Releasing air in a balloon creates thrust, yes. Especially here on earth, we are in a pressurized environment. In vacuum space, it has the opposite of pressure.

2019-05-25 03:07:57 UTC

How would you create thrust, without something to push off of?

2019-05-25 03:08:36 UTC

Nice theory you have.

Body remains or something could prove it. Parts of a body. Point being, just claiming with maybe even a picture or video doesn't go very far, these days.

2019-05-25 03:09:06 UTC

And nice video making the claim. Where nobody can reproduce it..

Not that hard to imagine someone doing.

Wake up

2019-05-25 03:11:07 UTC

It takes a belief. You’re correct.

2019-05-25 03:11:24 UTC

I prefer proof.

Yes he did.

You can’t prove gravity in the first place.

Mount Everest is an easily provable thing to exist. People are permitted to freely attempt to climb it. Measure it. We are not permitted to freely explore and measure Antarctica or bring private teams of civilians from anywhere to conduct scientific measurements and experiments.
