the “setting sun” can be explained by perspective. literally anything will disappear on the horizon given enough distance. this is not a curve. we can prove this because when you zoom in on a ship that “disappears” on the horizon, it comes back into view. this proves it was your perspective, not a curve

then how does darkness occur

if the earth was flat, then the sun would have no blocker, making everyday sunlight

first image shows the object is no longer in your field of vision. the second is zoomed in, where the object returns

the sun is smaller, and closer to the earth, so it has a more local coverage than you realize

as i have just explained, perspective prevents you from seeing the end of the earth, and it also explains why you cannot see the object unless you zoom in. if it were the curve of the earth, then it would be “under” the curve, and you could not see it regardless of zoom

because vice versa

if the earth was flat, the moon would have no center to revolve around, and go flying in any direciton

you’re assuming that. there is no evidence the earth is moving. there is no evidence the earth is spinning. the moon and the sun are not as big, or as far as you think they are, and the earth does not “revolve” around them
