So, why do you think the earth is flat?

2019-09-13 06:57:06 UTC

its not

2019-09-13 06:57:12 UTC

its ice cream

2019-09-13 07:01:21 UTC

Okay, why do you think so?

2019-09-13 09:31:15 UTC

@Jeff the Plant _kyse_ is trolling

2019-09-13 11:14:39 UTC

hi guys, im not a flat earther myself, but im not going to make fun of flat earthers, im just here to ask the people who are willing to have a Friendly debate about why flat or globe should be believed.

2019-09-13 12:57:07 UTC

Sight distances

2019-09-13 12:57:28 UTC

No observable or measurable curvature

2019-09-13 12:57:50 UTC

We will only ever experience a flat and stationary earth

2019-09-13 13:58:56 UTC

you* not we

2019-09-13 17:47:17 UTC

Do y'all think the earth is flat like a disc or flat like a coin standing right up?

2019-09-13 17:48:44 UTC

do you think the earth is a ball in an infinite vacuum or a pear ?

2019-09-13 17:48:55 UTC

nah

2019-09-13 17:49:03 UTC

pretty sure the earth is flat like a coin

2019-09-13 17:49:09 UTC

and rotates so fast it appears spherical

2019-09-13 18:04:32 UTC

@Cousin Daniel any signs of earths alleged axial rotation?

2019-09-13 18:53:27 UTC

yes, there are!

2019-09-13 19:07:50 UTC

Yes; the poles

2019-09-13 19:08:00 UTC

*Exactly*

2019-09-13 20:42:04 UTC

okay, guys, new theory

2019-09-13 20:42:15 UTC

the earth is a cube

2019-09-13 20:53:15 UTC

You're the first one to ever suggest it.

2019-09-13 21:22:51 UTC

@legend82 you exist on here still?

2019-09-13 21:36:57 UTC

Plato was a cube earther

2019-09-13 21:43:33 UTC

2019-09-13 23:39:51 UTC

Hello hello, just here to try and see the other side of the debate

2019-09-14 01:23:54 UTC

Here

2019-09-14 01:24:36 UTC

Hi!

2019-09-14 01:24:46 UTC

Hey

2019-09-14 01:24:54 UTC

hola

2019-09-14 01:25:13 UTC

So what made you decide to believe in a spinning rock earth? @queezypumpkin

2019-09-14 01:26:23 UTC

The internal congruency of a complex model. What observations convinced you? I'm, like, super curious about this.

2019-09-14 01:30:29 UTC

Let me address your first statement about a "complex model":
The heliocentric model is flawed...
(1) that model is based upon pre suppositions and theories turned (blindly) into facts...
I. E. (1) the radius of earth is pre supposed (p+q=q+p)
(2) there's no scientific evidence of a gas pressure system without a container... Also no evidence of a vacuum without a container... These 2 put a huge hole (red flags) about the heliocentric model and it's mechanics

2019-09-14 01:31:39 UTC

That's polemical, trying to change me. I'm more interested in what changed you :)

2019-09-14 01:31:50 UTC

Why did you care?

2019-09-14 01:33:04 UTC

Why care:
(1) yes, I care if I been lied to about where I live... If you don't care, then why are you here?

2019-09-14 01:33:28 UTC

Like, the techtonic plate theory never made sense to me. Next to physics and friction coefficients, it just never worked for me.

2019-09-14 01:33:49 UTC

@queezypumpkin so far you jave hand wave dismissal my evidence presented

2019-09-14 01:33:54 UTC

Why do you care?
