Oh ye those roles

2019-09-22 21:05:02 UTC

so, if there is no proof that God exist, this proves that his existance is unlikely?

2019-09-22 21:05:28 UTC

we are unable to disprove or prove a deity it's sortve like schrödingers cat

2019-09-22 21:05:28 UTC

there is no proof of either one, we cant deny it but also cant say he real

2019-09-22 21:05:29 UTC

God likes to be invisible most of the time

2019-09-22 21:05:47 UTC

God is something in your head

2019-09-22 21:05:54 UTC

@CTRLRetro awnsering +- your question after some thinking, I don't know 100% but I think we all should search for the true meaning of what is written

2019-09-22 21:06:10 UTC

@Ronin so it's the same with Gravity and everything else

2019-09-22 21:06:24 UTC

And were the ones being manipulated while you all believe in some invisible dude

2019-09-22 21:06:26 UTC

the flat earthers could be right

2019-09-22 21:06:31 UTC

No

2019-09-22 21:06:43 UTC

as the same way God might exists Gravity may not exists

2019-09-22 21:06:46 UTC

if you get my logic

2019-09-22 21:07:15 UTC

But there is no point in discussing because both sides will never give in, theres no point in discussing this stuff actually

2019-09-22 21:07:16 UTC

We still don't know a whole lot about gravity

2019-09-22 21:07:40 UTC

we don't really know a lot about a lot

2019-09-22 21:07:53 UTC

and we may never know a lot about a lot of things

2019-09-22 21:08:05 UTC

We give our proof, you deny you give *your proof* we deny this has no use

2019-09-22 21:08:25 UTC

being contrarian is pointless @Ronin I agree

2019-09-22 21:09:04 UTC

I don't think so, at least we can get to know more people and learn new things in a debate

2019-09-22 21:09:20 UTC

we may never get in a consensus because we see this like a competitive game

2019-09-22 21:09:29 UTC

at least I have learnt a lot of usefull stuff debating

2019-09-22 21:09:38 UTC

Meh imma go i think, you can believe whatever the heck you want i dont really care anyways

2019-09-22 21:10:01 UTC

entertaining an idea is the only way you'll ever know for sure imo

2019-09-22 21:10:12 UTC

there was an idea going around about 'Giant Trees'

2019-09-22 21:10:17 UTC

hey Logos

2019-09-22 21:10:23 UTC

like this

2019-09-22 21:10:44 UTC

what do you think about that logic of mine?

2019-09-22 21:10:46 UTC

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF HOW TO INVESTIGATE A CLAIM

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/538929818834698260/625438870355574794/Trees_2.jpg

2019-09-22 21:10:59 UTC

so someone said there were 'giant trees'

2019-09-22 21:11:01 UTC

back in the day

2019-09-22 21:11:15 UTC

hang on @Vitmar i gotta go back and read

2019-09-22 21:11:45 UTC

anyway, what I did was say 'hey that's interesting' and let my mind go with it

2019-09-22 21:11:58 UTC

Okay i gtg , see you guys have a nice day / night or whatever it is

2019-09-22 21:12:01 UTC

great for my imagination thinking about these giant trees. they had rings and everything a tree has.

2019-09-22 21:12:23 UTC

but then i looked into it. there were no root systems. the rest of the tree was never found. then i found how the fibers were made w/ volcanic activity underwater

2019-09-22 21:12:35 UTC

and had to throw out the claim

2019-09-22 21:13:27 UTC

so basically try to see how it could be true instead of just rejecting the idea constantly because it's unpopular

2019-09-22 21:16:19 UTC

your logical analisis is interesting btw

2019-09-22 21:16:35 UTC

I guess I need to study you more

2019-09-22 21:17:45 UTC

Vitmar you are right about people seeing this as a competetive game. I think that just gets in the way. what do you win if you're right anyway? pride? who cares about that. truth is more useful
