i have a few things to say about that statement
there's no "agenda" behind teaching kids science. society has gotten all this tech from it. it would be a good idea to continue teaching kids that, because we want them to grow up and invent things, create companies and create more jobs. it benefits us all.

floridaswamptrashToday at 2:18 PM
Do religious people do none of that?
I don't get what you're trying to say
There is an agenda to teaching people science

2019-10-22 19:26:32 UTC

I'm just asking because the way your phrased your statement makes it seem like you can't

2019-10-22 19:27:01 UTC

you can, but you cant have things like discord without science. thats all

2019-10-22 19:27:35 UTC

More like you can't have discord without math

2019-10-22 19:27:39 UTC

Tf

2019-10-22 19:27:42 UTC

thats not what the disagreement was about

2019-10-22 19:27:54 UTC

math is part of science @floridaswamptrash

2019-10-22 19:27:59 UTC

STEM

2019-10-22 19:28:02 UTC

you are deflecting

2019-10-22 19:28:08 UTC

Dude you know what I mean

2019-10-22 19:28:31 UTC

i thought you were denying that. people do that here, my bad

2019-10-22 19:28:45 UTC

ill ttyl

2019-10-22 19:28:54 UTC

we're being helicoptered

2019-10-22 19:29:05 UTC

See ya

2019-10-22 19:29:18 UTC

lol

2019-10-22 19:29:32 UTC

I don't get how people don't see that it is an agenda

2019-10-22 19:29:36 UTC

It obviously is

2019-10-22 19:30:02 UTC

but how is that a bad thing is what im trying to get at

2019-10-22 19:30:05 UTC

All science really does, in school anyways, is push atheism as a concept without answering important questions

2019-10-22 19:30:22 UTC

no. it pushes kids to invent new things as well

2019-10-22 19:30:28 UTC

the disagreement was about whether it is an agenda

2019-10-22 19:30:45 UTC

We agree it is an agenda though right Atlas?

2019-10-22 19:31:01 UTC

thats just a semantics issue. id love to talk about more than just what words we agree to use

2019-10-22 19:31:08 UTC

who's agenda ?

2019-10-22 19:31:13 UTC

the gov?

2019-10-22 19:31:42 UTC

It could be the government's agenda but I'd say it is a lot bigger than that

2019-10-22 19:32:19 UTC

Since science is a big part of our lives at this point

2019-10-22 19:33:15 UTC

idk man. im translating what you're saying as "lets teach kids even less knowledge then we do" that's going backwards in a society

2019-10-22 19:33:43 UTC

so "forward" then?

2019-10-22 19:34:04 UTC

Would you like to point out where I said we should stop teaching science?

2019-10-22 19:34:06 UTC

I'll wait

2019-10-22 19:35:02 UTC

Yeah if you didn't notice already I never said that

2019-10-22 19:35:14 UTC

I'm only arguing that science is an agenda

2019-10-22 19:35:15 UTC

its called a strawman fallacy

2019-10-22 19:35:43 UTC

You're saying because I say that it means I want us to stop teaching science, how did you get to that conclusion? @Atlas the Friendly Robot
