Its basically just taking a series of pictures from different angles and feeding them into the profession photogrammetry software that creates an accurate 3d model of the images in the photos based on relative angles formed by the different photos. After doing this from a plane JTolan was able to prove that the earth is indeed flat, well at least it appears flat and does not show a curve of a radius of 3958.8 miles
