how does god exist when there's no physical proof of him existing

atheists: see it and then believe it.
theists: believe it and then see it.

For Atheists it's something they have to see before even believing it like Mr. Dover said and before then it never existed but that wouldn't make sense because it's existence was already there so it becomes the question of "Has it always been there or not?" - The Higgs Boson is a good example of this actually and we can use it as the same idea of God and say that before hand it never existed but this wouldn't be true due to what the The Higgs Boson is (google it btw to understand what I'm talking about) specifically when it was discovered and it's effects still had been going on way ahead of it's discovery but no one knew what it was or wrote it off as something else (like a lot of Atheists do to hard questions and religious people do to hard questions as well) <--- woosh
