i really don’t feel like getting into a debate or anything rn but he proposed adoption agencies to not let same sex couples adopt, his vp and the guy he appointed to court r both super homophobic, his administration drafted an executive order which would discriminate against the community etc

okay well the twitter video is cool and all a few things; 1) although biden was pretty homophobic in the past he is more accepting now (like the video said) but we aren’t talking ab him anyway, so if u can find some things about how he is openly anti-homophobic or things he did to actively support gay people that’d be cool (also u didn’t even try to do anything about the points that i made)

okay 1. i found some info on the first policy ur mentioning and turns out when he was asked ab why he was in support of that policy he denied it and said “i don’t know what ur talking about” 2. even if he was openly accepting in the past, if his policies as president don’t reflect that then how he was years ago means nothing (he used to be pro choice, and we both know he clearly isn’t anymore). 3. like i said, this doesn’t mean much on its own, appointing someone gay doesn’t automatically make that person accepting. it’s like being friends w someone that’s gay and still being homophobic

overall it seems like i have more evidence for how he is homophobic than u do for how he is pro gay
