i really don’t feel like getting into a debate or anything rn but he proposed adoption agencies to not let same sex couples adopt, his vp and the guy he appointed to court r both super homophobic, his administration drafted an executive order which would discriminate against the community etc

okay so the only things i got from that video were him appointing gay people (which alone, in my opinion, isn’t enough to say that he’s PRO gay or ANTI homophobic) and then the thing about him crushing Hezbollah, but trump wasn’t against it because of it’s homophobia at all

okay 1. i found some info on the first policy ur mentioning and turns out when he was asked ab why he was in support of that policy he denied it and said “i don’t know what ur talking about” 2. even if he was openly accepting in the past, if his policies as president don’t reflect that then how he was years ago means nothing (he used to be pro choice, and we both know he clearly isn’t anymore). 3. like i said, this doesn’t mean much on its own, appointing someone gay doesn’t automatically make that person accepting. it’s like being friends w someone that’s gay and still being homophobic

overall it seems like i have more evidence for how he is homophobic than u do for how he is pro gay
