hi
<#547645432604393482> No. Why should teaching children how to properly right be removed from the ciriculum?
It makes no sense
ikr
If anyone agress with the <#547645432604393482> I would love to hear why.
Probably because handwriting isn't necessary anymore. Nobody uses handwriting and nobody requires handwriting.
how is it not necessary?
How *is* it necessary? To be clear, we're taking about handwriting and not simple printing, which of course is still necessary.
Ah
Nobody uses handwriting? That's a load of bull
Specifically, cursive.
Printing is still used
Handwriting is useless? Pffft
I don't know a single person who uses 'printing' as opposed to cursive
I think it's specifically cursive that's to be removed.
I don't know ANYONE that still uses cursive
Canada
Experiencing major culture shock right now
Everyone prints or types.
I'm pretty sure most people in Europe go for handwriting
Oh really??
At least in my experience, yes
Everyone I've met
It's not ever seen around here anymore.
Expect maybe with older people
I guess cursive handwriting is seen as a more sophisticated thing and printing, typing as a modern one. Maybe it'll overcome Europe too eventually
Would be sad to see it go though
It's certainly more sophisticated. I took cursive when I went to school. I think because people type more, it's just not used here anymore.
@Storm4ce42 just a cool comparison
Huh? Took cursive as in its a full on course? We get taught cursive handwriting first thing, don't even get a chance at printing
Imagine being obsessed with a Disney movie
Imagine acknowledging a classic being shitted on a 2019 remake
I saw the remake it was horrific
The music was so bland
