well, you're lucky i guess
or maybe it's just how it is where im from
no you are right, im lucky here, we still have the 2 big supermarket chains here, but that local store is always packed with people
I see what people are buying, Pre Cooked Rice lol eveything in a box etc - its not all bad though, some of it is terrible!
I worked in kitchens for 18 years as a cook, so I still cook everything myself, I rarely buy anything "pre made/pre packed"
well, im lucky also to a degree, with a raw dairy farm closeby, guess it's all relative
the whole dehyfrated pre cooked rice thing i dont understand... the things where its like "microwave this plastic bag for 2 minutes and you have brown rice"
it's also about preparing the food, that makes a difference too
I dont own a microwave.
zero love goes into preparing fast food
they do that to steer people away from cooking ^^
when I make chicken soup - it takes 2 days - cos I make it real.
well, when im only cooking for myself i dont like cooking every night, so i make big bathces of stuff i can freeze in glass containers, so i microwave things, i just dont store it in plastic
well, they've got them so wrapped up and so busy always, that there's little time for cooking , coincidence? i doubt
Yeah you don't want that nasty plastic particles in it
there's a government subsidised Mac on virtually every 3rd street corner.. but hell if there are any local organic produce shops are almost impossible to find
whatever doesnt kill you makes yous tronger
My thought is, in my experience, ANYONE can cook good if they really want to -
True true
That's true Cleon. A little effort goes a long way
My sister was a terrible cook, and I showed her a few easy ways of doing things, made a huge difference
lol,, anyone can do anything (cooking/music/whatever) if they really want to
Cooking is funny one though, I mean, after my jobs - I dont eat OUT anywhere.

```GRAVITY IS NOT A FORCE
Newton's theory of gravitation was discarded in 1915 in favor of
Albert Einstein's theory of Special Relativity asserting
That gravity was caused by time dilation from geodesics
Warping the fabirc of 4D lorentz space-time.
Aside from the heavily cherry picked Cavendish and
torsion field balance experiments, there is a
Major lack of cause and effect experimental evidence
To scientifically validate gravity, it remains to this
Very day only a theory!```
I learned how to play an instrument after I learned the first few notes. You just gotta try tbh
I learned how to pressure can low acid foods.
Ooo that's cool
I learned how to cook on low amount sof acid
I learned how to tie my own shoelaces (kinda)
I learned how to grow 5 types of cucumber.
i learned, the hard way, the difference between a head of garlic and a clove of garlic
a recipe called for 2 cloves while i was 11 or 12
i added 2 heads
suffice to say, it was the most dreadful result *curry ever
hahaha
Oh haha
growing galric is really easy. - you can grown them in a basic garden pot
how, just plant it?
