You all have been muted before and you will no doubt all be muted again.
same names
over and over
nasty rascals smh
"the action or practice of disingenuously expressing concern about an issue in order to undermine or derail genuine discussion" is the definition of concern trolling. There was no genuine discussion, they were only questioning moderation which is not what concern trolling is
I think questioning mod decisions is a rule in itself
but what do I know
No it's not
They've warped the definition of concern trolling (rule 6) to allow them to make decisions without any repercussions
Urban dictionary has a different definition too
"In an argument (usually a political debate), a concern troll is someone who is on one side of the discussion, but pretends to be a supporter of the other side with "concerns". The idea behind this is that your opponents will take your arguments more seriously if they think you're an ally. Concern trolls who use fake identities are sometimes known as sockpuppets."
yeah that just makes the term even more confusing to me
@Superiorna_Artiljerija read the entire <#484513575801454593> channel
and let me know if you have an issue when you are done.
6. No trolling (especially concern trolling such as questioning staff decisions. This usually results in a ban)
😳
you muted them under the clause of "concern trolling" despite the fact that the actual definition has nothing to do with "being concerned about moderator decisions". if you really want to have a rule where moderators can mute or ban people without questioning or criticism, then frankly i don't think they should be moderators at all
Concern Troll
This troll posts in the guise of “concern,” to disrupt dialogue or undermine the server morale. They often point out problems that don’t really exist. The intent is to derail, stifle and control the dialogue. It is viewed as insincere and condescending.
sounds like you have an issue as well @Superiorna_Artiljerija
Thats the definition
Yes
muting someone out of the blue for whatever reason that isn't specified and then muting others who question the decision is not a healthy practice
allo
i've seen multiple times posted in this server that "you must always question authority" or something like that and yet you can't question it in this server
This talk does not need to be in the <#484514023698726912>.
@Superiorna_Artiljerija aThat's your opinion. You are free to leave and start your own server.
Lets move it else where.
oh here we go
lovey dovey time
