@RidleyChozo I never said it was important more just a nit pick I feel that if your going into detail about an ancient culture then you can't leave out what can be a massive part of their society because you don't personally agree with them

2019-08-28 20:36:45 UTC

Still, I know for sure i never learned anything of the sort in school.

2019-08-28 20:37:00 UTC

I didn't learn much on history period to be honest.

2019-08-28 20:37:38 UTC

@AnUnknownRider I know, the Greeks are one of the most vexxing subjects in my opinion, like the Greeks, oh wow, now they were *gay*

2019-08-28 20:38:38 UTC

Yeah, That's definitely the culture in which homosexuality is common and not suppressed.

2019-08-28 20:38:48 UTC

Being gay isn’t a fetish any more than being straight is. Our brains and endocrine systems are just wired a little differently so that we are attracted to different people.

2019-08-28 20:39:03 UTC

cute story

2019-08-28 20:39:58 UTC

Indeed, Just because you love a man as a man doesn't mean it's something else which caused it, It's just how the wires in your head got connected.

2019-08-28 20:40:01 UTC

So to speak

2019-08-28 20:41:11 UTC

there are several studies out there on the number of sexual partners among gay men in a lifetime

2019-08-28 20:41:25 UTC

it ranges from 300-1000

2019-08-28 20:41:37 UTC

#loveislove

2019-08-28 20:41:52 UTC

@AnUnknownRider it was beyond that, it turns out that the original depiction of Hercules which was actually Heracles, was bi, another example were the Spartans, because in Sparta boys and girls are seperated at birth, the sparten men were supposedly so gay, that women had to shave their heads and hide their breasts in order to coax them into heterosexuality

2019-08-28 20:42:03 UTC

The lower bound isn’t 300

2019-08-28 20:42:09 UTC

It's not 300

2019-08-28 20:42:14 UTC

that's a conservative number

2019-08-28 20:42:16 UTC

alright

2019-08-28 20:42:17 UTC

cool

2019-08-28 20:42:20 UTC

it's not

2019-08-28 20:42:41 UTC

So some are promiscuous. So what

2019-08-28 20:42:58 UTC

@brother mutton Indeed, But i was merely being basic.

2019-08-28 20:43:08 UTC

Another bit about Heracles there is a temple to one of his boyfriends where gay lovers should go to recieve the pantheon's blessing

2019-08-28 20:43:28 UTC

I understand the subject of LGBTQ in Ancient Greece and Rome is very complex, Both in history and mythology.

2019-08-28 20:43:47 UTC

promiscuous is a given with this fetish. do the research

2019-08-28 20:43:50 UTC

or don't

2019-08-28 20:43:59 UTC

keep eating up the propaganda

2019-08-28 20:44:07 UTC

and watch families disintegrate

2019-08-28 20:44:14 UTC

And of course, There were many mis-conceptions which spread around for years afterwards on what the Greek's supposedly did

2019-08-28 20:44:22 UTC

2019-08-28 20:44:46 UTC

@AnUnknownRider I know but this is the problem, almost none of this is taught in schools, which means that most of that part of their culture is very close to being erased

2019-08-28 20:44:55 UTC

Indeed

2019-08-28 20:45:04 UTC

And that is sad, Just utterly sad

2019-08-28 20:45:30 UTC

To be honest, It's not just that part of their culture but virtually the whole of it.

2019-08-28 20:45:37 UTC

@RidleyChozo I like women. Get over it

2019-08-28 20:45:52 UTC

didn't ask don't care

2019-08-28 20:45:56 UTC

As i said before, I was taught pretty much nothing in school about the Greeks par for a few things here and there
