I was thinking on the basis of another server.
Oh
Yeah
@AnUnknownRider I mean I've definately seen alot of Latin inscriptions relating to homosexuality as well as Greek stuff, honestly I find it kinda interesting that alot of ancient cultures homosexuality is never addressed in schools, maybe it's just another example of gay history being suppressed or it could be a coincidence
I'm not sure what it is, But i know for sure i was never taught that in school
In fact, I actually thought for a long time (Up until i was 10 or 11) that until recent times, Homosexuality was hated all-around.
But as i grew older, I found that wasn't the case and upon further researching in the last 6 or so months, I find that even my views on it from but a mere 2 years ago were wrong.
i'm just glad we're focusing on important topics in school and government like sexual fetishes
@AnUnknownRider it happens alot, I honestly think it's just because the schooling system for a long time was correlated with Christianity, which as we all know, has a bit of a problem with the gays, similar to how the Christians erased or changed ancient gaelic and Nordic folklaw when they began a cultural takeover, it's really sad because I feel like alot of ancient cultures aren't properly talked about and you don't have the full story behind something
Indeed, I mean...it clearly say they should be stoned.
So considering they didn't like another culture which is fine with homosexuality isn't any surprise or shock.
@RidleyChozo I never said it was important more just a nit pick I feel that if your going into detail about an ancient culture then you can't leave out what can be a massive part of their society because you don't personally agree with them
Still, I know for sure i never learned anything of the sort in school.
I didn't learn much on history period to be honest.
@AnUnknownRider I know, the Greeks are one of the most vexxing subjects in my opinion, like the Greeks, oh wow, now they were *gay*
Yeah, That's definitely the culture in which homosexuality is common and not suppressed.
Being gay isn’t a fetish any more than being straight is. Our brains and endocrine systems are just wired a little differently so that we are attracted to different people.
cute story
Indeed, Just because you love a man as a man doesn't mean it's something else which caused it, It's just how the wires in your head got connected.
So to speak
it ranges from 300-1000
#loveislove
@AnUnknownRider it was beyond that, it turns out that the original depiction of Hercules which was actually Heracles, was bi, another example were the Spartans, because in Sparta boys and girls are seperated at birth, the sparten men were supposedly so gay, that women had to shave their heads and hide their breasts in order to coax them into heterosexuality
The lower bound isn’t 300
It's not 300
that's a conservative number
alright
cool
it's not
So some are promiscuous. So what
@brother mutton Indeed, But i was merely being basic.
Another bit about Heracles there is a temple to one of his boyfriends where gay lovers should go to recieve the pantheon's blessing
I understand the subject of LGBTQ in Ancient Greece and Rome is very complex, Both in history and mythology.
promiscuous is a given with this fetish. do the research
or don't
keep eating up the propaganda
and watch families disintegrate
And of course, There were many mis-conceptions which spread around for years afterwards on what the Greek's supposedly did

@AnUnknownRider I know but this is the problem, almost none of this is taught in schools, which means that most of that part of their culture is very close to being erased
