doesn't matter what you believe, or if everyone is delusional, the truth will remain the truth regardless of what people believe.
you can think the earth is a orange that you can eat, doesn't change reality.
as your goal in life in general, your pursuit should be truth no?
neil degrasse tyson can say its a pear all he wants, doesn't make it a pear.
not "prove my already pre conceived biases"
but no one here can seem to prove that FE is reality
cuz then we're getting dangerously close to confirmation bias
how do you figure out the shape of something?
we're way past that
(WanTon)
we are doing rocket science here, how do you figure out the shape of an object?
do you check its temperature?
Math
do you figure out how much it weighs?
All of the above
what type of math/
Idk
the problem i've seen is that people, tend to lean very much into confirmation bias, rather than to keep in mind that the end goal should be the truth and this is the root of the problem
@Akhanyatin You should compare Canada - Mexico with Canada - US - Mexico. Dichotomy again, the reason canada is cheaper isn't because of marketing if it was because of marketing than the price of canada to us to mexico would be cheaper since canada to US is higher in demand.
Also I'm cool because I have a tattoo
Not math
wow, this isn't rocket science, its a simple answer
you want ot lay out carpet, what do you do before you can lay down carpet?
@WonTon Yes, you also had a bias when you came with a claim with nothing to back it up. Everyone has a bias
what claim did he even make?
you need to figure out how out how much carpet you need
how do you figure that out?
He was rooting for his globe earther buddy but had nothing to back his claim of marketing and demand would make the connected flight cheaper.
@rivenator12113 And biases are bad, but if you pointed our a FE point I would VERY much love to do research on it to see the validity on it
@rivenator12113 And My reaction is such because I want to get to the truth
@rivenator12113 you said that canada-mexico was cheaper than canada-us-mexico, are you saying that you were lying?
if you want to figure the shape of something you measure its dimensions
and I'm afraid that your goal isn't to find how do i get to the truth but rather how do i prove FE
@Akhanyatin I I re-edited canada to us is higher in demand than canada to mexico
so we measure for curvature and don't find enough to create a ball
@^Kevin^ dude measure distances between distant points, you won't be able to place these on a flat plane
@rivenator12113 dude, i sent you the website, you can use it to find the exact stats that you want. Again, MANY THINGS determine the price of a flight. Demand is one of them, distance is another.
Anyways, I have to get back to work, you're clearly super biased and this is going nowhere. Try looking a bit past the tip of your nose, you might find that the real world is waiting outside for you to explore it.
Distance is the main one
Prove it
