@DataVoid I have been reading ZeroHedge since maybe 2007, it was before Obama, in the "W" era, right around the big financial collapse. They are a great contrarian site and help keep you from avoiding the hype that leads to frenzied buy-ups etc. That said, they're Doomers. I know they mostly aggregate from other sites, so 'they' are 'they', but that's the flavor of the site. Which is valuable, because nearly all other financial sites are hype machines. The financial doomers always forget that the people participating in the economy aren't merely 'economic man' robots, they have a vested interest in the system NOT collapsing and instead prospering and explains some of the resiliency in the system.

Both parties are hellbent on destroying the residual value of the USD. They only differ in terms of which groups they want to appease during the process of doing so.

If the value of the fiat US Dollar is generally based on the strength of the US economy, and if the US economy collapses in on itself, how does taking the high road wrt BRRRRRRT yield a higher value of the USD? These guys are walking a tightrope with funny money. We'll see how it plays out.
