@Linz I think it kind of depends on where you are at, me, I’m on the Left Coast about 35 miles out of Seattle at ground zero. My wife won’t leave her family so we have prepared for the worst. Have Ham in case the internet goes down.

@MrT -- I'm gonna get a HAM Radio as well........and learn it, then take the test to get my license........even though when the SHTF, you won't NEED a license, because no one will care 😄 -- it's still worth it, to HAVE one --- if electric, gas, internet, land lines, etc , all go down, you know?

@ChavaAyanna ( USA ) yes, good plan. After doing SERT training a few years back my eyes were opened and the prepping began, now can support others too. Most important, make sure you get extra meds, if you need. Stockpile. Supply chain disruptions will be biggest issue so be prepared and then you can help others.

@MrT --- Another good one I use, that's free, is "" 5-0 Radio "" -- it's an app on my IPod, and when you surf different countries, sometimes you can catch them saying eye opening things -- IN ENGLISH
You have to really listen but, if you listen at just the right time, it's eye opening what other countries are saying, OPENLY, on that app
