Trump will use this executive order to override resistance at FBI and DOJ to his DECLAS order on Carter Page FISA application.
DOJ/FBI (Rosenstein/Wray) will push back against declassification because they know it shows FBI leaking info to media and then using that very same reporting as “confirmation” of their own suspicions in justification of FISA warrant. It’s just an information laundering operation in which the NYT WaPo and others are complicit. Hence their screeching, “journalists” / executives could see jail time.
