No, there are a few projects like Ripple that the banks created but most people in crypto stay far away from that, it was cipher-punks that created most crypto
I wouldnt put it past them to syphon off peoples cryptos with their apps and wallets...doesnt take much on a big scale to create themselves a huge slush fund

I'd rather hold crypto in a wallet I have control over than put my money in the bank where the interest they pay doesn't even meet the inflation rate, so in reality you are paying the banks to hold your money and put the restrictions on it's use that a bank account entails...
