Mobile - City of Six Flags - Part 1. By popular request.
This most historic city has an amazing history beginning with the first settlement upriver from the present location.
The diversity of inhabitants changed over time as the city fell under the rule of six distinctly different governing authorities.
The six flags: French King flag, British Union Jack, Spanish flag, U.S. Flag, Republic of Alabama flag, and Confederate States flag.

The most accurate "City Seal" reflecting this diverse heritage was adopted in 1961 as shown herein. A minor change occurred in the year 2000.
Then, in 2015, the city leaders voted to remove all flags except the American Flag from the City Seal as shown herein. They agreed to make the change over time and as financially feasible. I'm not sure of the current status.

Note: At some point after the decision to redesign the official City Seal, a new City Logo was created as seen herein. I personally thought the logo was an advertising tool for tourism when it started appearing on signs, buses, etc., because it had no official look to it like the City Seal, but now I've been told the Logo replaced the official City Seal. We need clarification...
Opinion: The defacing (removal of flags) of the older City Seal in 2015 was an unwise decision. One example of the new design left the seal unattractively empty, robbing the city of its diverse history. And now, it seems the city leaders completely erased the existence of the old City Seal in favor of the green "M" Logo.
Unfortunately, it also displays the level of ignorance (lack of understanding) involved in such an important decision-making issue as it relates to understanding why the history of this most historic city should never be erased.

Yeah it's pretty bad I know in New York City babies that were circumcised in a hospital. The rabbi's recommend drawing blood from the wound site at a later date when they can get quorum 10 elders.
Does drawing blood from a wound constitute torture if you did it to someone questioning them?
