What is pangburn?

Travis Pangburn is a guy why sets up discussions between our favorite intellectuals. He hosts town hall meetings daily where we talk about different things. This is a community for skeptics to engage in good faith discourse.

What do you guys think about STEM versus Critical Theory?

Skepticism has orders of magnitude and directedness. Direction might be like: there was no moon landing. Magnitude might be like: Atheism versus agnosticism. No god or might be a god.

Critical theory was created my Max Horkheimer in the Marxist Frankfurt school in Germany in 1938, as far as I can tell it was originally created to spread Marxist propaganda. It sides with feelings over facts and science. A bunch of hullabaloo if you ask me

Critical theory, as Eric Weinstein put it, seems intent on watering down the STEM fields in colleges and universities. But they are atheist too. Just anti-racism. It's like Jurassic Park: the other two raptors, you didn't even know were there.
