It’s entirely impractical, honestly, and I don’t have the patience for mathematics anymore. Even if you’re writing ML algos, you still won’t use it. I’d much prefer them replace that req with more data structures courses, or something of that nature, but it is what it is.

Oh, of course. Likewise, my friend. I’m sure you’ll do fine on the ASVAB, just get yourself an ASVAB book, and be sure to brush up on some math along the way. You’re probably already doing just that, I’m sure.

These days, they all claim that’s elementary algebra, which to an extent is true, but who really applies it anyway? Even if you’re in CS, you’re never going to use it.
