Hashtags are new to me. Dumb question: Can people reverse hashtag trends? If "#MA.GA.Bomber" is trending (as some claim), how to squelch it?

@Agent 34 No dumb questions. Ive been learning right along with you! LOL I put my fav hashtags with all my twitter posts or all retweets. Then people see your hashtag then you hope they start using it too. You can even ask your followers to use your hashtag and say let's get this trending. Maybe someone else has any other helpful info but that's how I do it!

@stefanon I don't have any 'trend-worthy' ideas. And, I only have a few followers, so I'm useless...lol. But, when I saw that MAGA.B was trending, I felt a pinch in my gut, and decided I'd get a better understanding of how it all works. Is there a log of what's trending at any given time? And is it just on Twitter?
@Agent 34 I think the trending factor is mostly on Twitter. Sometimes on YT chat the mods will ask to get a certain hashtag trending. The Twitter trending info is found on the computer twitter on the left side bar. Im not sure how it's found on the phone app. Keep asking on here. I just snoop around on things til I find it! LOL But remember Jack Dorsey never lets a conservative hashtag trend or if he does it doesnt last long. MagaSwaga is good about trending hashtags and all the info. Sorry I couldnt be more help. Keep asking around here.
