According to Fox News, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said the action was in response to a series of “complaints” from members of the caravan and others trying to cross the US-Mexico border.
“We have been approached by folks who have expressed complaints,” Becerra said. “We are monitoring what’s occurring.”
Border Patrol Agents fired tear gas at a crowd of immigrants over the weekend after the group hurled projectiles and other objects at federal authorities.
