@Steve Angell not "money" (is defined gold/silver).... federal reserve notes are rented transaction units or debt notes...and are valueless.

2019-10-17 00:48:50 UTC

True. Unfortunately most Americans believe it is money.

2019-10-17 00:49:26 UTC

They also wrong believe Fed means Government not private.

2019-10-17 00:50:14 UTC

So sad that so few understand the basic realities of the Country we live in.

Seems to me people still falsely believe Columbus discovered America. It was always on maps and the Vikings lived in America and Canada back then and long before then.

2019-10-17 00:55:40 UTC

πŸ‘ @Steve Angell

2019-10-17 00:55:54 UTC

2019-10-17 00:56:25 UTC

@Steve Angell yes. artifacts say so.

2019-10-17 00:57:28 UTC

Original Collateral in 1913 was the U.S. Treasaury.

2019-10-17 00:57:29 UTC

I lived in Halifax Nova Scotia for six months. Viking settlements all across Nova Scotia. Most predating Columbus. They laughed so hard at us stupid Americans believing in that myth.

2019-10-17 00:57:43 UTC

In fourteen hundred ninety-two

Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

2019-10-17 00:57:53 UTC

But he hit the Bahamas..thinking it was India...Hence "Indians"

2019-10-17 00:58:41 UTC

He had three ships and left from Spain;
He sailed through sunshine, wind and rain.
He sailed by night; he sailed by day;
He used the stars to find his way.

2019-10-17 00:59:10 UTC

I do not buy that for a second. It was just about coming over here to start a war and annihilate any who lived here to steal what they could.

A compass also helped him know
How to find the way to go.
Ninety sailors were on board;
Some men worked while others snored.

@kreskin1 Right Leaf Ericson Day πŸ˜‰

They used a sextant. The stars they knew exactly where they were at all times.

2019-10-17 00:59:54 UTC

@Notsoperfect I love that song

2019-10-17 01:00:24 UTC

It is just a tall tale about the compass and needing a watch.

2019-10-17 01:00:49 UTC

Then the workers went to sleep;
And others watched the ocean deep.
Day after day they looked for land;
They dreamed of trees and rocks and sand.
October 12 their dream came true,
You never saw a happier crew!

2019-10-17 01:01:33 UTC

@Notsoperfect but, muh flat earth.

Flat Earth - Poem by Richard Dates

In ancient times, before our days,
From schools of learning far away,
Wise teachers taught the world was flat,
And few would dare to question that,
Then it was found,
The earth was round.

2019-10-17 01:03:58 UTC

Though not so sure it was Ice back then. 1500 Era maps show land and people down there.

2019-10-17 01:04:04 UTC

@Notsoperfect In ancient times, before our days,
From schools of learning far away,
Wise teachers taught the world was flat,
And few would dare to question that,
Then it was found,
The earth was round.

In shame, they fled their hallowed grove,
And wandered ragged and in disgrace,
Until they found within a cove,
A dark and secret hiding place,
A mental maze
In infinite haze.
