if you have not already, then please download the discord program so you are not using it in your web browser. because the 'in browser' form of discord is known to cause issues.

If you want to catch someone's attention just use the "@" symbol in front of their username. That will tag them with a notice to check for a message

You have opted out of the ranking systenm and that is perfectly fine. However if you ever want to go on one of the call in shows and speak with one of the hosts you will not have the rank required to do so

In order to talk on the call in shows you must first reach Level 1

Perhaps you could wait until you reach Level 1 then opt out at the point. Just a friendly suggestion it doesn't matter either way
