Its honestly fascinating, basically when the mormon church reformed in the late 1800's, the worst of the church was booted out and formed the FLDS, and the best elements are what the church is today

the faiths side by side today are completely incomparable.

also yeah the sons of FLDS families are literally referred to as "lost boys"

because a lot of them end up getting kicked out of the communes and basically abandoned

due to the fucks leading the communes wanting to keep the female population much higher than the male population

most of those boys are fairly heavily indoctrinated and the mormon church has to sponsor de-radicalization for a lot of them
