@Arkansasmaga 3 terms is such a short time. stretch to 4 or 5. I hate to think of what would occur if the matured were constantly being replaced with newbies. We need a good mix of old and young, seasoned and novices.
Nope. We need patriots to serve the public not lifetime of doing deals for self. Serve others not self. Politicians need to know what normal people go through by actually having a job in the public. They do not need lifetime benefits.
Politicians they stay in congress for a lifetime began to believe they are our masters not our servants.

In the movie The Last Starfighter, the Death Blossom is a "weapon of last resort" that is used when completely surrounded by all of your enemies.
In the Iraq War, Death Blossom was military slang to describe when the Iraqi military would receive contact and start firing wildly in all directions.
One again Q has a masterful multiple meaning crumb.
My take is that much like in the Last Starfighter, the enemies are being drawn in close, to the point where they think they are about to land a killing blow, before the Death Blossom of DECLAS takes out the enemies that are EVERYWHERE.

@Arkansasmaga 4 or 5 terms isn't a lifetime. Expecting quick turnover to solve our problems is dreaming. Quick turnover can be the means of youngsters, straight out of liberal colleges, to take over Congress... only to set their stage for a presidency. We need old school to keep us anchored.
No one should stay in Washington D.C. for 20 years.

No. Terms for all politicians. We have 2 terms for a president for a reason. We need to use the same for the rest of the politicians. So I guess you think the president should be in power for life also.
