In fact, I'm very keen on recognizing tiny attempts at passive-aggressive attacks. The slight variations of insult that one may try to push... there's a subtle art to what those who do that can do sometimes.
Often, it's just a slight word or action that is done to cause doubt. To question one thing or another... not directly ridiculing, but not supporting it entirely either It's insiduous.
