@unicornsnvelvet It seems to me that Flynn's plea may include "confession of all that you know about the crimes" whereas these details would have been under lock and key due to state secrets rules before, they enter into the court record. Newly-discovered crimes found therein would be referred to IG? I guess what I'm getting at is, perhaps the plea deal was a way to look like he was snake-bit, covered him legally, & allowed Justice to prevail. I imagine he will be made whole in the end. There will be others side-swiped and double-agented along this path.

and perhaps that's a real element...the subsequent coverup by the DOJ and the FBI to clear the path for HRC's coronation gives us big time crimes... in order to prosecute them, everyone who is on the take or compromised must be rooted out; since so many of them occupy positions of authority, they must be forced out, strong-armed, or charged. Probably charged and then encouraged to provide "in their own words" the crime for which they are guilty (in exchange for something of currency they hold dear) and to further indict co-conspirators. Folks, this goes all the way to the Oval Office.
It begins to look like a power-sharing agreement was reached long ago and they've been running trains on our White House ever since.
