I joined so I can learn and research more

There is a help desk and if someone is in there they usually have voice and chat so you can learn more there by asking questions and getting help. Great if you want to test our your microphone for clear communications.

I will stop by the help desk in the evenings and try to help get some of you onto the voice capability and then show you how to use this platform and eventually others to help you move up if you are interested in doing more and either spreading the word, researching, educating etc...lots of jobs for everyone.

@TJMolonLabe about Zoom....do you have to log in? Will they be sending out invites? I don't do video or voice but would love to go in there.

Zoom is only the app to host the mods on the stream that is how we have voice capable...we all work our way through here to work up

@TJMolonLabe He also talked about since someone was releasing the meeting notes he may start setting up meetings with the chat involved.

@TJMolonLabe - I would like to learn how to do voice - don't know what kind of microphone or speaker you need, only have my laptop, and I am available weekends mostly. Just want to learn. That is why I am in here, and have been posting in the forum as well. Love to hear you.

yeah i am on the Text chat but i still show in AFK for Voice its like their is 2 one for voice and one for Text i just stick my voice in AFK

@Catz721 this is just text.. hmmm is it grayed out? the voice is grayed out for me because I have voice turned off. at the very bottom by you name if you click on mic and headphones to off maybe text chat will light up.

yeah i can Turn it on but have it Turned off

i can still enter chats on non voice channels but shows me in what ever channel i select AFK just makes sense to me since i do not want to voice chat
