20 years working with inmates I learned it was communication and not force to control situations . Though I have dealt with very dangerous inmates

No when you talk to an inmate you are letting them know you are listening to them and conversation you are having on an equal level. A lot of times they act out because no one is listening to them.

@retiredDep - oh yes, I am positive of that. Have you heard of Mark Taylor? He was a firefighter and God speaks to him - and everything he has been given has come true to the letter. He has said he was told President Trump was chosen "for such a time as this." Very inspiring to listen to.
