I am a catholic. While there is much wrong with my religion there is nothing wrong with my faith. I believe that Our Lady being the good Jewish mother that she is says "Have I got a Son for you" i know my son gets upset if someone bad mouths me...imagine how Jesus feels when His mom is bad mouthed. I wouldn't go around bad mouthing God's mama. Jesus kept the commandments especially the one honor thy father and mother. Jesus gave his mother to the beloved disiple from the Cross. Are we not His beloved disiples as shouldn't we be taking care of her as well? In Luke's first chapter the angel says "Hail Mary full of grace. The Lord is with thee." when she goes to Elizabeth, Elizabeth exclaims "blessed is the Fruit of your Womb" As a. Catholic i am criticized for these words eventhough i am quoting scripture. When i fullfil the prophecy of Luke 1:48 i am further criticized and accused of 'worshipping'. Make no mistake i worship only God. I give his mother respect. If Jesus is the new Adam who do y'all think is the new Eve. She could have said no. She had free will.
I am so very upset with the soapbox that i haven't been able to listen all day. I listen 24 7.
Amen Deer - as I stated in youtube chat last night - We don't pray TO mary - we ask her to pray for us for intercession or pray with us...and honor her as Jesus's mother. It is a beautiful thing, also teaches the value of Family - which is something that quite frankly more people in this world could use. The fact that people in the you tube chat were being downright rude and accusatory towards catholics last night was THE most unchristian thing I've seen in a long time. They want to talk about people not living the good word? They had just done it...
I am not even a practicing catholic anymore, but I know the religion well, was raised a Catholic, and I consider myself a decent human being with a strong family background. I am not one to be easily offended - but that was offensive.

dumpster last night when they had the guest speaker in the you tube chat speaking aobut the mysteries of Fatima, there were many people in the chat blasting those that were of catholic faith.
I mean outright blasting them - not just looking down on their religion but saying they weren't christian, etc...
I know - the god squad does have a niche here - I do not mind at all - common ground or common grave
like I said I am not a practicing catholic anymore - I don't agree with everything in the religion but let's be honest - every single religion has it quirks. The imporant thing is the way you live and to LIVE as a christian. I didn't see that last night. I saw people acting in the most unchristian manner ever.
