LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A crowd of about 250 people gathered around 8 a.m. Saturday morning in downtown Louisville over the debate about the nation's immigration laws.

Louisville Metro Police were ready for hundreds, maybe even thousands more protesters and counter protesters, to fill 7th Street. They had officers on rooftops, helicopters, horse patrol, and dozens of officers on the ground.

Roger Stone purports to be a close friend of Trump...

Protesters set up outside of Louisville's ICE office all week protesting the Trump administration's immigration policies. Police prepared for a counter protest from the Three Percenters group and others aligned with it on Saturday.

LMPD's goal was to keep the two sides separated with physical barriers like bike racks and construction trucks. There was no word of any arrests as of early Saturday afternoon.

Occupy ICE protesters entered the area at 7th Street and Broadway. Counter protesters entered from 7th and Chestnut Streets. Reporters estimated the Occupy crowd at about 400-500 people; the Three Percenters and others had about 50-75.

The protests broke up after noon. But for almost three hours before, the groups stood peacefully, yelling chants back and forth.

"It's important that we provide a place where people can share their opinions, and hopefully we can keep them safe in the process," said LMPD Chief Steve Conrad on Friday.

LMPD cancelled days off for officers because of the event.

Conrad said his officers were not to prohibit the right to exercise free speech, however violence or the destruction of property would be stopped.

Occupy ICE organizers say they will camp outside the office until the Trump administration abolishes ICE.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma's 4.0 earthquakes are up significantly this year, but the overall rate of earthquakes is declining.

Oklahoma has had six quakes of at least magnitude 4.0 halfway through this year, which is one more than all of last year. But the overall rate of earthquakes has declined, with 96 quakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater through June 30, compared with 144 at this point last year and 302 by the end of 2017, the Tulsa World reported. A magnitude 4.6 in April near Perry was the 12th largest in state history.

Scientists are largely seeing earthquakes on unmapped faults that were activated in 2014 by wastewater injection, said state seismologist Jake Walter. Scientists are researching specific mechanisms by which the state's ongoing seismicity is triggered, he said. Wastewater can trigger the initial earthquakes, but quakes themselves can lead to more quakes.

"So in some ways the wastewater injection has created a new paradigm that defies how we would categorize main shocks and aftershocks if this were a fault that had slipped in a more natural setting," he said.

Walter said that Oklahoma's seismic risk appears to be similar to the latest hazard forecast put out by the U.S. Geological Survey in March. The agency calculated Oklahoma's short-term hazard levels to be similar to active regions in California. The chance of earthquake damage in high-hazard areas of Oklahoma this year ranges from 1 percent to 14 percent, "much higher" than most parts of the U.S.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -
New details are being released about a Memphis police officer accused of pocketing hundreds of dollars that police found on her son during a drug arrest.

Officer Jocelyn Robinson's career with Memphis Police Department spans 20 years.

While WMC5 found a number of accolades for her work, we also found a number of blemishes including four traffic accidents in a police vehicle, all minor.

There were also six incidents where Officer Robinson had to be disciplined, and quite a few of those involved her children.

When the vehicle 22-year-old Roger Robinson was riding in was pulled over for a traffic violation back in February on Bartlett Boulevard, police found a lot more than a misplaced tag.

Police said In the backseat where two small children were sitting was a black backpack with a loaded gun with one round in the chamber, a Glock 22, and two Ziploc bags with more than 300 grams of marijuana.

Roger immediately called his mother. When she arrived, Roger allegedly slipped his mother $630 in cash, which she put in her pocket.

According to the Bartlett report, when police noticed what she had done and ordered her to return the money, she became irate and started cursing and yelling.

"Y'all Bartlett police are dirty and shady!” she said. “I can't believe y'all gonna do me like that."

Roger was taken to Bartlett Jail, where he was facing six charges, including possession with intent to sell.

@Deleted User I bet Daddy Dragon’s video is great too! I watched his show yesterday, he is a passionate speaker. He outlined England’s Constitution of 1688. Listed the the rights English people have lost. Made me realize how important protecting our rights under the Constitution really is.
