JACKSON COUNTY, MISS. (WALA) -
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 for information leading to the capture of escaped Mississippi murderer Michael "Pretty Boy Floyd" Wilson.
And, the U.S. Marshals Service is now offering $5,000 to anyone who provides new information leading to the arrest of Wilson, WLOX-TV has reported.
Wilson escaped from the South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Leakesville, Miss., on Thursday. He was discovered missing at 12:48 p.m. Thursday.
Wilson, 47, is serving two life sentences from Harrison County, Miss., for murder. He was sentenced in 2015.
Wilson stands at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds and has hazel eyes.
Authorities warn that Wilson should be considered dangerous. Multiple agencies gathered in Jackson County beginning Thursday evening after reports that Wilson was in the area.
The search for "Pretty Boy Floyd" has continued through Friday and Saturday. Officials have warned motorists against granting rides to strangers after Wilson was reported to have sought and been granted rides.
