I taught my daughters how to cook, made them clean, had them help with laundry, had them help with canning, etc.
I laughed so much at him, he said I smelled funny at night ( muscle rub)...I told him that's what old people do
smell funny and make odd noises
Now that they are older, we have projects making home-made soaps, face creams, things like that
They will teach their daughters
Hope that's not too "gender-specific", but too bad
That is great, none of my siblings or children can anything anymore, but seem to load up when they come to visit
I don't know what I can teach my grand-son that his father can't teach him
yea the older you get,the harder to sneak around the house.....snap,crackle....pop......whatz that smell
I dunno @woodsracer544 I'm an old woman who sleeps light
And I can hear a mouse"poot" in church
LOL
We still do it, make soap, butcher our meat, hunt and fish......just a lifestyle we grew up in, I was thinking of teaching some classes in the community, so many say they want to learn, but will not grow anything to can, not even an apple tree
😊
Pardon the language
just can't raid the cookie jar likre i use too...
you are fine, not real pc muhself
There, I changed it
I can't keep cookies , thing is , the kids have been gone for 18 months.....
Mine are healthy cookies
LOL
aint they all?
Although, they're pretty good
Oh, sure
Take all the calories out of them
All the bad stuff
🍪
eggs, milk, flour ......all healthy
butter, chocolate, sugar, raisins n stuff
oatmeal,molasses
yeah, all healthy
lol
In my Uncle Si voice " I mean hey..."
My family is the American Indian version of the Duck Dynasty family, love them Roberson's
I don't eat sugar or grains
Almond flour and monkfruit or other non-chemical sugar substitute
Coconut flour is good, too
Tapioca flour tastes good, but is starchy and raises my blood sugar, so I don't use much
Those are my limitations
Still , it's gotta be good, kinda hard to mess up a cookie, sounds like a winner to me @Gailm
