Boys need to be out and about doing stuff, not shut up in a house sitting in front of a screen all day, but he did like drinking coffee and doing stuff on the farm, so maybe there is hope...

I taught my daughters how to cook, made them clean, had them help with laundry, had them help with canning, etc.

I laughed so much at him, he said I smelled funny at night ( muscle rub)...I told him that's what old people do

smell funny and make odd noises

Now that they are older, we have projects making home-made soaps, face creams, things like that

They will teach their daughters

That is great, none of my siblings or children can anything anymore, but seem to load up when they come to visit

We still do it, make soap, butcher our meat, hunt and fish......just a lifestyle we grew up in, I was thinking of teaching some classes in the community, so many say they want to learn, but will not grow anything to can, not even an apple tree
