All have good waves. Big island has everything except Honolulu. Maui is getting built up, touristy, Molokai is more dry, Kuaia has a beautiful rain forest. End of my experiences.

Kauai is gorgeous....my favorite island

I hiked into the Na Pali rain forest with people from a study group, less than a week. Experience of a life time. That's when I started using a staff when I hike. Some sheer cliffs on the trail and a few thousand feet down to the crashing waves below.

I always use a staff when I hike.. it makes it so much easier.. I don't care if I look like Moses..

And take one of those real portable hammocks to tie between the trees. Very cool.
