2019-08-19 15:56:16 UTC

Are you saying hello to m @ColdBrewedFreedom ????

2019-08-19 15:56:39 UTC

😂

2019-08-19 15:57:31 UTC

@Groot I am not sure if it went on to another album or not.. I am listening to Spotify. but I started with Home Free. and I absolutely loved it.

2019-08-19 15:57:39 UTC

You want to know something funny?

2019-08-19 15:58:00 UTC

I messaged my dad on skype a few minutes ago.. and said "Why didn't you ever tell me about Dan Fogelberg music??" LOL

2019-08-19 15:58:21 UTC

His answer?

2019-08-19 15:58:52 UTC

and he just called me.. and was like who is Dan Fogelberg? He said you have to understand that I walked away from all of that.. when I became a Christian.. and never looked back. The reason for that is because he was in a rock band..and heavy into drugs ect.. and he just left it all.

2019-08-19 15:59:28 UTC

But he said that there a lot of good music from that time period

2019-08-19 15:59:53 UTC

anyway.. I had a nice laugh about that

2019-08-19 16:00:33 UTC

I said to him.. it's funny because I am just now opening my eyes to all other kinds of music.

2019-08-19 16:01:27 UTC

Look at that @Groot You helped facilitate a conversation with my dad that I have never had LOL

2019-08-19 16:01:59 UTC

Well yes of course. And, they need to be found. But that doesn't mean musicians that do quality music do not have there own demons to deal with in life like everyone else...doesn't mean they are lost lambs they just need to be tended to as part of the flock or brought back into he fold.

2019-08-19 16:02:41 UTC

of course.. but at that time.. it treated it like.. someone who had an addiction to alcohol.. he walked away completely

2019-08-19 16:03:05 UTC

Lots of great musicians started in gospel of faith music and lost there way on the commercialization path.

2019-08-19 16:03:11 UTC

So I was raised on classical music and christian music. Which is fine.. I have no regrets nor do I blame my dad.

2019-08-19 16:03:39 UTC

Yeah we were talking about that @Groot how so many changed their paths due to moneye ct

2019-08-19 16:03:41 UTC

2019-08-19 16:03:47 UTC

Just as a side note.. I am thankful and grateful to be raised the way I was. strict, conservative, maybe in a bubble with some things.. but my parents loved us ..and we laughed all the time. I had an amazing child hood.
