Prayers please
@patriotlady5 You raise an issue that is thorny indeed. For any two people to live together for any length of time in this world that is bent on tearing them apart is a monumental task. I say this as a man who is a two time loser in that regard. I now know that I have been the sort of fellow of whom you speak. Insensitive, unresponsive, always looking after my own vision of how the world should be. What is the answer to this dilemma? I'm not sure. I do know that Jesus tells us to love one another better than we love ourselves. How can we do that? Only with His help. Perhaps our expectations of others are unrealistic. Perhaps we need to give that person into God's hands, quit trying to change him or her into what we think they ought to be and instead be thankful for the chance to share with them their joys and sorrows, knowing that our happiness is found in living for God and His righteousness.
Thank u Patriot lady I am a single father and got full custody of her at 8 and and we have a good relationshipship. Her mom just uses her for what she can get out of her and has no real relationship with her because of it. She is 27 and has 5 kids aged 10 to 1 year old and they have been removed. She has very low self asteim and listens to me most of the time but gets mad at me when I tell her something she doesn't like to hear and is trying to do her own thing but is losing everything in the process. He has terrible anger issues and degrades her all the time and when she does leave he calls her constantly telling her hes sorry in one breath and threating her in the next if she doesn't do what he said and go back to him and follows her back and continues to threaten and herass her constantly blowing her phone up with threats . She called the other day to see how I was doing and said she was getting kicked out of where she is staying soon.i told her she's welcome back here and can take care of parents and she was thinking about it but again won't talk to me or ansuewr her phone he doesn't want her to have anything to do with me

This is a good one ☝️
I saved that website on my bookmarks bar @CrypticQ right along beside my Blue letter Bible that Chuck Missler recommended.
No problem
Had to drop - at house church event now. Love y’all and the discussion.
I like listening to y'all read anything out of the Bible. Thank you for keeping me company while I'm finishing up some work. 🙂

The River of Life
1And he showed me a [a]pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. 4They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. 5There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
