This is hard because I know that so many people have needs but I would like to ask for prayers for a specific young man. This is kind of personal for me because I know some of his family members. His name is Zack Owens and he was one of the police officers shot this past weekend in Odessa Texas. At this time, he has had 5 surgeries cleaning out dead tissue and such in order to save his left hand and his right arm suffered broken bones also. Currently, they are taking steps to see if his eye can be save (it suffered injury from glass shards). In each instance the prognosis is positive but prayers for his recovery is still appreciated.

We are the body of Christ in this world. We are His hand. We are His feet. We are His eyes. We are His angels. Our enemies look everywhere for our leader, and our director... And they have no access to Him. With the Spirit's guidance, we will act as He wills us to, independent and in unison, because God wins. His timing is perfect. We simply must make ourselves available to Him, be worthy of that access, and listen. The Prince of Peace is our example. The Scriptures our Guide. Our faith in action our testimony. May the Lord sanctify our efforts to further His will.
