A “constitutional crisis” occurs when a situation arises that cannot be (or appears that it cannot be) resolved under the terms and application of the rules laid out by the Constitution itself. It is a situation that challenges the very validity of the Constitution and/or its implementation of our democratic republic.
Impeachment is a method of resolving a problem that is supported by the constitution — it requires that the House press charges against the official to be impeached, and for the Senate to vote to remove the person from office if the charges are supported.
The two are not related in any meaningful way — unless the party being impeached refused to actually leave office and attempted to assert their authority through unconstitutional measures.
