and when I try to claim account it says my email is already in use

Maybe discord assigned a new # if you made a different account but tried to use the same name idk otherwise

i didn't make a different account ...it did it automatically

this is completely frustrating

and the tutorials are silent on this issue

I would say go to your other discord app and DM me from there and I can send you a new invite and try that

ok I'm not the best on iphones but you should have like 3 buttons or lines in the top corner tap that and you should get a list of like folders in discord app

When I go there it’s got the welcome aboard and rules and help desk but I have no clue where to go from there

Can you see folders by clicking in the top? Click the help desk right under the one you are typing in and you should be able to talk to or hear me
