I don't know what happens with my snipping tool but after a few hours it becomes corrupted and acts this way. I just restarted my machine and it will work just fine now

@ValleyKat no worries. when you made an account on the discord site it should have asked you for an email address, thats the address you log into the account with.
thats the email address you have to verify, discord emails a link to it when you created the account.

ranks are auto calculated by bots, based on post count. its just a trophy system really,. nothing special just there to spice things up a bit.

check you email inbox if theres an email in it from discord then you got the right one. if there isnt then you may have to redo the account or atleast add an email onto it

if you go into your discord settings you can find out what email you registered with, and theres also a button there to resend the verification email if needed.

@ValleyKat Did you read the rules and agree? Once you have done that step you can begin posting and earning rank. After 8-10 postings you move to Level 1

After you reach Level 1 you can the join the live call in shows if you wish

i am honestly pleasently surprised at how much time you put in helpin out round here, never expected it,

try not to get burned out though, itss always wise to take breaks even if its for a day or two or 3 or w/e, whenever your starting to get frustrating or annoyed or whatever, itll happen eventualy, take a break then or risk becoming burnt out. ive seen it enough times to know its a real risk with running servers

I take it nice and slow and I am aware of the burn out factor and how devastating that can be. Mostly I focus on the evening when the Live Shows are asking for callers. Seems that is when we get most of our new people

When I first came into Discord I was so lost it wasn't funny. I made a vow with myself that if I ever had the chance to helpothers navigate this Discrd desert I wold try to help them along the path

I get some sort of odd enjoyment out of helping new people and hearing their reaction when the light bulb comes on for them. I do take breaks most of the morning

The fishing is about to pick up and I will be out to the lake in my boat soon. Looking forward to that adventure

lol i know that feeling i was also overwhelmed by this server when i first started paying it mind way back when.
its even more channels now lol.

i think i have a solution to some of that, i intend to setup an 'opt-in' process to make most channels invisible so this place looks less cluttered to new joiners. but its an endevaor so im putting it off
