Dumb question here. How do I watch A show and chat? Do I do it on YouTube?

That is not a dumb question at all and I will try to explain how Discord works. If you want to watch the Patriots Soapbox on Youtube then you will need to have a browser open wiht that show running. Discord is separate from Youtube so you open a second browser for Discord and switch back and forth. Or what some people do is have two devices going at the same time so that they can watch both platforms simultaneously
