Sweden has slightly more crime because they’re taking immigrants from the Middle East. I’m pretty sure England and Germany have a sizable amount of less crime than America. Crime has many factors, it isn’t just oh my god people are entering our country!!!! Why would they enter if they knew they’d just be deported back for being criminals, anyway? Immigrants commit crime, generally their very act of being illegal is a crime, but lets ignore that for the sake of discussion.
Immigrants come in, particularly low skill immigrants will come and work illegally, wont pay taxes etc. Meaning this is alreayd a crime in and of itself. BUT lets ignore that as well, which ethnicities are most likely to form gangs? Is it the native bornstock ethnicity? Or the immigrant ethnicity? The vast majority of cases will demonstrate immigrant ethnicities over represented in gang formation and then violent crime or other similar crime, drugs etc.
They often dont really care for the laws of the land as is, they are there for money, not fleeing crime etc. which is BS, people travel like this to get ahead, rarely to get away from something in which case they would simply go for asylum and refugee status.

the fact is this crime is happening, its most noted in mass migration because so many more get caught
the irony is police reporting of crime is going down, mot probably due to political correctness, but the number of inmates is skyrocketing
Even if crime happens due to illegal immigration, the solution isn’t to build a giant pointless wall
The solution is to increase background checks and reform our system. The fence down there is good enough, just arm it.

truth be told its a bit more complicated than that, but in the US the wall might very well be a ton of wasted money when that same money can go to 1) making immigration systems better, or shuttign them down or whatever needs to be done, 2) arming the wall like you said, making a better fence 3) updating security measures with better tech, some sensors and cameras.
It would reduce cost, make everything that needs to be made better and cheaper, because honestly the issue with the wall is that you still need to man it.
