I don't like considering Spics "Hispanics", in my eyes a Hispanic is a person who is Spanish or a pure descendant of the Spanish. Spics are mongrels created from the mixture of Native Central Americans and Spaniards.
The term Hispanic does not mean Spanish as in Spaniard though. A Hispanic is someone from the Spanish Speaking World. So technically speaking, Equatorial Guinea (in africa) is Hispanic since they speak spanish there. Definitions are dumb. Check out Hispanic vs. Latino if you are confused
