that's cool 'n' all, but the latter was just letting Iran have some of their money back which we stole (generally bad form for international trade), in exchange for signing a deal to severly limit their nuclear capacity, and destroy their capacity for creating nuclear weapons, while the former was potentially with campaign funds

2018-08-29 05:00:36 UTC

>stole

2018-08-29 05:01:49 UTC

>literally giving 400million to some state that would buy weapons and use it for technology development

2018-08-29 12:35:04 UTC

@Alice Redacted erm... you actually believe the terrorist state “severely limited they’re nuclear capacity”

2018-08-29 12:36:35 UTC

Too bad we have no way to check without waging war against a nuclear state

2018-08-29 18:47:11 UTC

un has found no evidence of a nuclear program

2018-08-29 19:20:30 UTC

>UN
>competent

2018-08-29 19:21:30 UTC

y assume that they aren't following tho

2018-08-29 19:33:22 UTC

THe UN is about as reliable as the US was when declaring Iraq had WMD's. In full honesty Russia is more reliable than most international state like orgs or nations

2018-08-29 19:33:56 UTC

also if they didnt have nukes why would Iran fuck with the nuclear state of Izrael? Why pick a fight with someone who would immediately launch nukes at htem, if they didnt have their own.

2018-08-29 20:05:37 UTC

@21tagtmeiern Leaked documents prove they had a nuclear program

2018-08-29 20:50:26 UTC

"Russia is more reliable"

2018-08-29 20:50:36 UTC

y'know, the state which literally assassinates dissident reporters

2018-08-29 20:50:38 UTC

they're reliable

2018-08-29 20:50:51 UTC

and if you look at the terms within the treaty...

2018-08-29 20:51:27 UTC

or take into consideration that there's... I think a 90 day limit on inspection compliance literally anywhere in the country

2018-08-29 20:51:30 UTC

again, anywhere...

2018-08-29 20:51:38 UTC

and no limit on registered sites, iirc

2018-08-29 20:51:43 UTC

meaning unrestricted access

2018-08-29 20:51:55 UTC

yeah, it's kinda a decent treaty

2018-08-29 20:51:58 UTC

better than no treaty

2018-08-29 20:52:09 UTC

which means literally just letting them get nukes unobstructed

2018-08-29 22:37:47 UTC

based russia

2018-08-29 22:43:51 UTC

Russia is at least right sometimes

2018-08-29 22:43:53 UTC

like in Crimea

2018-08-29 22:44:05 UTC

The USA has said "Iraqi/Afghan people support democracy!"

2018-08-29 22:44:10 UTC

with literally every group they invade

2018-08-29 22:44:13 UTC

it's always a lie

2018-08-29 22:44:20 UTC

Crimea obviously had a sizable proportion of real dissidents

2018-08-29 22:45:05 UTC

Also muh >Russia assassinates reporters

2018-08-29 22:45:28 UTC

HIS NAME WAS SETH RICH

2018-08-30 22:15:30 UTC

I mean, Russia also violates the civil rights of a lot of people

2018-08-30 22:15:35 UTC

so there's that

2018-08-30 22:15:42 UTC

and god knows they're not democratic

2018-08-30 22:15:53 UTC

they're an autocracy, at home and abroad

2018-08-30 22:16:23 UTC

but like, regardless

2018-08-30 22:16:24 UTC

I agree

2018-08-30 22:16:28 UTC
