Ceramic breaks upon impact though, a few shots and your armor is gone
how heavy is tier 3 steel chest plate
14 lbs
yow
its ar500 steel
it's not that noticeable while wearing it, I've gone on some log jogs just to get used to it.
the armor most definitely would be heavy, but I think you can train with it to be strong enough.
I'm sure you could, and it would be viable for an inserted force that did not need to carry much gear
you would need to adjust the design to not have plates hanging loose
you'd have to replace that crotch piece with kevlar for sure
the jin Roh police force had LMGs with 50 round belts from a backpack
You're typing fast.
what does an mg42 weigh
25
yeah 150ish with ammo makes the load ok
plus 50 rounds
50 lmao
at least 50
500 at least
you don't want to run out
the police force used 50 round belts dispensed from a backpack, essentially a 50 round magazine
I do think that kind of armored team would make a good terror/anti-terror unit
there's something awesome about standing in a hail of fire
but they would need someone to take out anti-armor teams for them
imagine 50 of those guys storming Hollywood and Washington DC
I do frequently
unstoppable
well
not unstoppable unfortunately
any serious weaponry does them in
Blitzkrieg tactic, overwhelm the police force
I think their best role is to show dominance
Nothing short of a 50 bmg or Lapua magnum could take them out I dont think.
how about high explosive of any kind
grenade, mortar, rocket
very easy to deploy that kind of firepower
Yeah, but who has those in a police force?
in DC?
By the time the military showed up, they would have hostages
I can't imagine what kind of swat teams are on standby in the capital
