free market capitalism and socialism are both materialistic in nature and a threat to culture

Socialism because it seeks to create some kind of "new man" based on unsubstantiated nonsense

Free markets because they relegate your citizens to nothing more than objects that exist to consume.

Private property is what drives the economy, but to deny the fact that unchecked big business can be just as great of a threat to your country as socialism is mindless.
